What is A Hydrophilic Mission?

“A Hydrophilic Mission” is our catchy name for Philip Kao’s one year, self-funded journey away from his corporate job. It will take him through multiple countries in Asia and Central America to learn firsthand about various water issues unique to each place, and how to implement solutions that directly help people meet their most basic need through efficient clean water engineering.
For the next year, Philip will blog about his adventures and what he’s learning to draw awareness to the water situation worldwide. His first few posts will describe his pre-trip motivations and expectations in more detail.
